Community members deserve clear, honest communication from their elected officials. Newly revealed information makes a recall effort against Chris Nanos reasonable, even if success is uncertain. Voters likely did not have full information about this history in past elections.
Many feel that important decisions have been made without sufficient transparency or public input.
Why a Recall?
A recall is not about politics—it’s about giving the people of Pima County the opportunity to decide if new leadership is needed.
We believe our community deserves leadership that is transparent, accountable, and aligned with the needs of its residents
Residents want effective, consistent approaches to public safety. There are concerns that current strategies are not fully addressing the needs of the community.
Strong leadership is essential for a well-functioning sheriff’s office. Questions have been raised about internal management, morale, and the overall direction of the department.
Trust between law enforcement and the community is critical. When confidence in leadership declines, it impacts the effectiveness of public safety efforts.
